Designed by renowned naval architects Marcelino Botín and Shaun Carkeek, La Bianca is a 45-foot racing yacht conceived for sailors who appreciate the combination of advanced composite engineering, competitive performance and precision sailing.
Built in 2005 with a Kevlar and carbon-fibre composite structure, she embodies the principles of modern race-boat design: low weight, structural stiffness and responsiveness. These characteristics provide the foundations for efficient acceleration, powerful upwind performance and speed under sail, making her an exciting proposition for competitive owners seeking a yacht with genuine racing credentials.
In 2023, La Bianca underwent substantial works, contributing to her technical development and overall condition. Following an extensive restoration and performance optimisation programme, she was prepared for the 2025 Copa del Rey MAPFRE and ORC European Championship campaign. Her refit included a new rigging package, carbon-composite mast, boom and spinnaker pole, together with a comprehensive sail inventory from North Sails, including 3Di mainsail and headsails. Updated B&G electronics and an Expedition navigation and performance-analysis system further enhance her racing potential.
Currently stored indoors in a covered facility, La Bianca is sheltered from the elements, an important advantage in preserving her condition and protecting her composite structure and equipment when not in use.
At 13.83 metres in length, with a 3.13-metre beam and a 2.66-metre draft, La Bianca offers an appealing opportunity to enter or return to high-level offshore and inshore racing with a yacht developed around performance rather than compromise.
She offers the opportunity to take the helm of a purpose-built performance yacht, combining advanced composite construction, substantial technical investment and the potential to pursue new competitive challenges.
